Would You Ever Guess Wednesday....
Good morning my fellow Crafters. This is my second post for My Cricut Craft Room, and today is Would You Ever Guess Wednesday. This is the day were we explore all the options the cartridges have....without using the main images.
I thought this would be a breeze, ha, boy was I wrong. I started 2 different projects before I got into a good groove with my 3rd. Once I got going though, I realized that some of these carts have the best secondary images!! I think Disney- Happily Ever After is my favorite for non- main images.
Here is my project:
I made a mini album for my son's girlfriend. Her birthday was last tuesday, and last monday I started this...last minute! All the cuts are NOT the main images. The title above is from the "PHRASES" key of GYPSY WANDERINGS. Its cut at 1inch.
This "Hello" is from LOVELY FLORAL cut at 1.5 inches
"Chillin with my Peeps" is from STRAIGHT FROM THE NEST cut at 1 inch
The Balloons is from LYRICAL LETTERS and they were cut at 2 inches
This is the card I made to go with it. The birdie is from DISNEY- HAPPILY EVER AFTER cut at 2 inches and the sentiment is from STRAIGHT FROM THE NEST
To see more exciting different cuts make sure you head over to My Cricut Craft Room to see what my DT sisters have whipped up.

First Post for My Cricut Craft Room
This is my first post on My Cricut Craft Room, and boy am I excited!!! Today is Theme Day Thursday, and the theme we're following today is A Child's Year Cartridge.
This was a great theme for me...I've had this cart for awhile and never used it. Could never figure out what to do with it. But then I had and idea. One of the little girls I take care of everyday is going to be a big sister in October. I've gotten really close to the family, and when they found out they were having another girl, the mom emailed me first to tell me:) I even got to know the name before anyone else does. (They find out that tidbit once she's born) So I made her this:
I used the A Child's Year cart for both the font, cut at 2 inches, and the fairy cut at 4 inches. I have to say, this is now my new favorite cartridge for the font! I absolutely love it!! I used Martha Stewart glitter in Rose to sparkle up the first letter in each part of her name, and to make the fairy sparkle trail too.
Other supplies used:
Cardstock- Core'dation colorcore
Pattern paper- Scrap from my stash
Ribbon- scrap
Adhesieve- Atg gun, Liquid Glass
Flowers-Recollections
To see more projects of this fun theme check out My Cricut Craft Room to see what my DT sisters made.

My Girls- A 3 Girl Jam post
This post is bitter/sweet. I love, love, love being a DT for 3 Girl Jam, but sadly this is my last scheduled post:( I decided I will go out
showing you one of my favorite past time activities, hanging with my
kids....Summer is my all time favorite season, and it just seems to go
by so fast.
I hardly ever use white card stock as a background, but I wanted the colors to jump off the page. The yellow ribbon is just the perfect shade. And I braided the pink, green, and yellow twine...I couldn't decide which one to use, so I used all 3:) And have I mentioned how amazing the bow maker is...I'm so addicted to it, that everything has bows on it now:)
Ribbon- Daffodil Twine-Pink,Green,Yellow Bow Maker
And don't forget the DT call Julie has going one right now...check it out here. You don't want to miss out on this experience!!

Time to Play Catch Up- Picture Heavy
Happy Monday everyone. I am finally feeling better. I got a headache Friday afternoon, that by Saturday Morning (3am ish) had turned into a full blown migraine. I thought it would be gone by Sunday, but no dice. I suffered through it yesturday too. It was doublely hard because I had my daughters ladybug party to get ready and have!! I muttled through it, and she had a BLAST!!
Here's the party pics:
Now, I have to go catch up on all the blogs, my DT requirements and laundry! If anyone needs any info on how I made anything, leave me a note, and I'll post how I made it:)

Lotsa Kicks....
My girls are not dancers, they are way to clumsy for anything really, but they are not graceful in any shape or form. That being said, we needed some sort of after school activity for them, so they play soccer.
Last year was my youngest daughter's first year playing, and egads it was a disaster! She cried almost the whole time (except snack time) and if she was on the field either me or my husband had to be holding her hand. In all fairness to her though, the whole team was like that lol. So this year we tried again, and if it was a fail then we were done with soccer. Well, she surprized the heck out of us and she LOVED it. If there was a rain cancel, she was so upset. And after every game she would ask how many sleeps til the next game! The best part of this.....she was more concerned with how many times she KICKED the ball, and didn't care one bit if she scored a goal, or what the final score was!! After every game she would say "Mom, I had Lotsa Kicks today!!"
Supplies:
Cardstock- Black CTMH
Pattern Paper- Jellibean (I think..have to double check)
Cartridge- Paper doll Dress up - Net @ 3 inches, Ball and Flags @ 5
A Child's Year- Font cut at 1 inch
orange stickles
Off to finish my ladybugs (again) cuz tomorrows her BirthdayParty!!

My Loss, is Your Gain....3 Girl Jam is Looking for YOU!
Sadly, in a few short weeks, my term as a 3 Girl Jam dt will come to and end. I have to say this, Julie gave me my very first DT experience and I will be forever thankful. She has been wonderful and generous and a complete delight to know. As have been my fellow 3 Girl Jam DT sisters. Some of us will be moving on, some of us may stay. She has asked if any of us might want to stay, and I thought about it a great deal, but my new DT requires alot, and I don't want to let down Julie if I am unable to complete a project on time...I do hope she lets me be a guest designer though :)
So here are the details on 3 Girl Jams new DT call:

Card #2
So, I never did get around to making a 3rd card. It was date night yesturday with the DH. My inlaws picked up my kids, and at 1 I woke up the hubby and off we went for the whole day and night. It was an amazing day, but it meant not getting my 3rd card done....a fair trade if I do say so:)
So here is card number 2 that I made, and I do like this one. I scrap lifed this from Scrap Jacked. Its a blog where you are encouraged to jack their projects....just the kick in the bum that I need sometimes. I Jacked Andrea's card:
I left space in the blue incase the girl I made it for wants me to add the retiring nurses name:)
And this is just the simple inside.
Recipe:
Cardstock: All just scraps from my stash
Ribbon: Scraps from stash
Twine 3 Girl Jam
Ink and stamp: Cranberry red CTMH
Cartridge: PaperDoll Dress up Nurse cut at 3
font cut at 2

What was I thinking
Yesterday, a girlfriend of mine called, and asked me if I would make a card for her to give to someone who is retiring. Sure I said, Why not? Well, WHAT WAS I THINKING! Now I know why I don't make cards....its just not my forte lol.
I made 2, and might even make a third...this way she can have her choice of the better one.
This is the first try:
I cut the card shape at just over 6 inches from the Art Philosophy Cart.
Cardstock- white- CTMH
purple- Bazzill
Pattern- My stash
Butterfly punch-EK
Ink- Purple Pansy-CTMH
Feather flower and lace- Webster's
Twine- 3 Girl Jam
I'm just not feeling it. I'm not usually a layered, fancy type crafter, I like CAS, but I got my box of goodies from the Webster's sale they had and thought I would give it a shot... Tomorrow I will show you the 2nd, maybe the third..and I'll let you know which one she picked:)

The Best Laid Plans,
Hey Crafty peeps. I am slowly recovering from my Canada Day Long weekend, and slowly getting my crafty groove back. Are my US friends ready for your 4th of July Parties, BBQ's and other fun events?
So I thought I would show you all what my PLAN A was for the 3 Girl Jam-Beautiful Bows Blog hop (excuse the pics, they're from my phone)
You can't tell from this pic, but the white letters are sparklie. I had the intention of making her name in 1 shadow from, haha, but the letters where a tad too big...bummer. So I scraped that idea, and put together the pin board. I woke up Saturday morning and thought, "Hey, could I not use 2 shadow frames?" I have a stack of them so I gave it a shot. Its not what I had planned, b ut it works, and I think I like it a bit better, because it is different.
Well, off to make some more ladybug decorations for my youngest birthday.

Ladybug, Ladybug...A 3 Girl Jam post
Hello crafty friends. How did you like the Beautiful Bows blog hop? Pretty cool eh? Busy weekend for us Canadians this weekend...It was Canada Day Yesturday, so I have to go back and finish hopping.
Today is my day to post for 3 Girl Jam and today I'm showing you the banner I made for my daughters 5th birthday. Its on July 11th, but her party will be on the 14th:) I asked what kind of birthday she wanted and she said ladybug.....so here it is
I used 3 Girl Jam Red Crinkle Ribbon and its all attached using her red twine because this will be for outside, I needed something with some strength incase its windy. I shadow cut the letters at 4inches, but I can't remember from what cartridge. I dry embossed the red with my Big Shot using the swirls folder. I didn't have a cart with a ladybug on it, so I used the George basic shapes cart to cut different sized circles and made my own ladybug. The rosette is from the Tablescapes Spring and Summer Cartridge.
Alright folks, I'm off again to enjoy the last day of our Canada Day long weekend...have a great week. Oh, but if you're looking to buy some crinkle ribbon, nows the chance.... 3 Girl Jam has a flash sale going on, but only until July 5th....buy 2 bundles, get one free. And while you're over there, make sure to get a fabulous bow maker for only $5.99!!!

Beautiful Bows Blog Hop

Hi Folks, Welcome to the Beautiful Bows blog hop. We have some wonderful projects to show you today, so grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and have some fun!!
If you've come here from my talented DT sista Jessica E then your at the right stop...but if you just happened upon me today, then you might want to go back at start at 3 Girl Jam. You don't want to miss at Bowtiful projects:)
Today we are showcasing this wonderful new tool that Julie has made....a BOW MAKER!!! How exciting, right? I know there are a few tools out there to make bows, in fact, I have one somewhere up in my cupboard...BUT 1. Its ugly, and 2. Its so complicated to use, so I just don't! But this one....
Is beautiful!!! And SOOOO easy to use!! This is the one I have ^^^^, but there is another color too if you prefer:
Aren't they cute!! The Bow Maker will sell for $5.99. Cute, simple to use, and so affordable!! And if thats not enough, all bow makers with come with a special 4 yard bundle of her new summer ribbon!
As with most of my Plan A ideas, it didn't work the way I planned, so on to Plan B....well plan B proved to be a challange also....why? you ask, well I didn't have the color of ribbons that I wanted to use for this project. I was planning on doing this idea alittle farther into the summer so I would have time to order some ribbon that was the color I wanted:( So I worked with what I had, or with what I could get at the store. Here is my project:
I have been promising to redo my oldest daughters room for 2 years now. So I am slowly starting. This is a pin board that will go on her wall once I paint it. I will have another row of three to complete it. They are all made of 12x12 cork that I have covered in fabric. I've added bows to a few of them. I used 3 different types of ribbon... a wide sheer pink, a think medium width poke-a-dot and the white crinkle ribbon from 3 Girl Jam. And they all tied with ease!! What I love tho, is with the crinkle ribbon, it was easy enough to make a double bow, even a triple!! I can't say enough about how versatile 3 Girl Jam really is.
Now, on to the fun tidbits of the hop...
1. Julie has been kind enough to offer a sale on ribbon bundles until JULY 5th, BUY 2 get ONE FREE!!! How great is that!
2.After hopping along, gathering some great bow inspiration, head back to 3 Girl Jam and join the Linky Party. All you have to do is link a project with a bow. It doesn't have to have 3 Girl Jam ribbon, but awesome if it does:)
So, head on over to Jovan at Cards by Jovan and admire her bows:)
