Tragic News

 Hey new and old friends...I'm still around, like I said before, May is very busy. I have a lot to juggle around. I was also then given a huge blow on Sunday about a tragic loss. A dear friend lost her son to cancer. He would have been 5 this June and was so excited to start Kindergarten. I'm having a really hard time with this. Our kids were the same age, and tonight is my daughters Meet the Teacher. I reminded that this poor little boy will never have a first day of school. This news had taken my crafty mojo sadly.

  I will have a project for the 3 Girl Jam Blog Hop though on June 6th. So be on the look out for that. There are going to be some great prizes too.

Diners, Drive Ins and Dive- A 3 Girl Jam post

Hey folks, Happy tuesday!! Today is my post day at  3 Girl Jam. Today I'm showing a layout I did of our trip to Florida. On the way there, and home, we tried to hit as many restaurants that was shown on the show Diner's, Drive-In's and Dives. On this trip we were lucky enough to hit 3 of them.

Surprise!! You're 40!!

Whew, what a weekend. I'm still exhausted, but it was a wonderful time. About 2 weekes ago my best friends boyfriend asked my hubby for some help planning a party for Jen (my bff, Jen and my Hubby work together). Well, what are the chances that 2 men could plan a surprise party in 2 weeks. So I took over.

  All was going ok until tuesday, when I dropped my gypsy and broke it!!! What!!! Now What!!! Well, I called Cricut, and they got me a new one sent out (I got it Friday:)) , but what was I going to do in the mean time.  I hadn't used my E2 without a gypsy since I got it in October. On top of that my girls play soccer on alternate days and my MIL had all my carts at her place on the otherside of the city lol. Well I figured it out, and while i did have to alter some of my plans, I did get it all done!

And there's no rest for the wicked...my son turns 13 on Friday, my sister turns 22 next tuesday and then our 11 yr anniversary is on the 25th!!

Soaking up the Sun...Just not Here

 Happy Tuesday morning people,

  Its been a cloudy wet couple of days here lately...well, more like couple of weeks. I'm ready for the sun any day now.

 Today is my second post over at 3 Girl Jam, and here is the layout I did:

 I'm not going to lie to you...when I got the new Caribbean Splash bundle I panicked. The colors are absolutely amazing, but I wasn't to sure how I was going to use these colors on a layout, and still do them justice. After pondering it for most of the afternoon, I realized I had the most perfect pictures for it. I haven't scrapbooked most of my pictures from Jamaica yet. It was such a special trip for me, that the book I'm (supposed to be ) making had to be really wonderful. Well once I sat down and looked at the ribbon and the pictures...everything just came out the way I wanted them too.

Viva Las Vegas

  This February, the DH and I where able to finally go to Vegas. We said last year we would go last May for our 10 year anniversary, but well, Jamaica seemed like a better idea lol. Anyways, we still wanted to see Vegas. On Jan 1st we found an awesome deal and my In laws were kind enough to take our kids for 5 days (well turned into 6 with a flight reroute). So off we went.

 I made a small paper bag book for the actual trip, but I wanted a page for my actual scrapbook, so this is the one I made:

 I did scraplift this from a page I saw in this springs issue of Scrapbook and Cards Magazine, but I lost the magazine in my craft room disaster to give you the actual name of the person...So sorry.
